About KARSAA
The Korea-America Relations Seminar Alumni Association (KARSAA) is a Georgia nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our legal name is West Point Korea-America Relations Seminar (KARS) Alumni Association Corp.
Our Mission
To cultivate a community of West Point graduates, cadets, and supporters through mentorship, cultural exchange, and professional development while empowering leaders to advance Korean-American interests and serve the public good.

Why KARSAA
- Keeping a dispersed community connected. KARS graduates serve and live all over the world. KARSAA creates consistent touchpoints that sustain lifelong relationships and a shared identity.
- Closing the mentorship gap. Cadets, junior officers, and transitioning service members benefit from guidance by those who came before them. KARSAA is building a formal mentorship pipeline across military and civilian careers.
- Building bridges. KARSAA connects the Korean American community with military leaders, civilian leaders, and policymakers.
- Preserving the KARS legacy. As an independent, alumni-led organization, KARSAA carries forward the traditions and knowledge of KARS and lets alumni contribute meaningfully.
Our History
KARSAA builds on the Korea-America Relations Seminar (KARS), established at the United States Military Academy in 1991. The association extends the seminar's educational, cultural, and mentorship benefits into graduates' service and civilian lives.
