KARSAA serves West Point graduates, cadets, and supporters through four core programs, built on three pillars: Community, Leadership, and Education.
Networking Events
KARS graduates are spread across the country and around the world. Our events create regular opportunities for cadets, alumni, and supporters to reconnect and build lifelong relationships.
- Army-Navy Social: our signature gathering of cadets, midshipmen, and alumni. See past events.
- Planned: regional socials, Army football tailgates, and golf tournament fundraisers.
Mentorship
Cadets, junior officers, and service members transitioning to civilian life often lack guidance from people who understand their journey. The KARSAA Mentorship Program connects them with experienced officers, alumni, and professionals who share their values and heritage, and it covers both military and civilian careers.
How it works
- Mentors and mentees sign up through an interest form.
- The mentorship team matches pairs based on academic and career goals, branch interests, leadership experience, cultural background, and preferred mentorship style.
- New pairs complete a short onboarding on how to be a mentor or mentee.
- Each pair aims for at least one meaningful interaction every month, and the mentorship team checks in along the way.
- Participants give feedback mid-way through and at the end of each round, so the program keeps improving.

Professional Development
We help leaders grow in military service and civilian careers through panels, seminars, and conversations with experienced leaders.
- Cadet events at West Point: opportunities for cadets to learn from experienced officers, such as the Posting Korea event in April 2026.
- "Life After the Academy": a panel held at the 2026 Army-Navy Social.
- Planned: fireside chats, U.S.-Republic of Korea strategic roundtables, a KARSAA podcast, and, in the future, scholarships.
Community Engagement
KARSAA aims to be a bridge between the Korean American community and national service by connecting civilian leaders, military leaders, and policymakers, and by partnering with organizations that share our goals.
