Our Programs

KARSAA serves West Point graduates, cadets, and supporters through four core programs, built on three pillars: Community, Leadership, and Education.

Networking Events

KARS graduates are spread across the country and around the world. Our events create regular opportunities for cadets, alumni, and supporters to reconnect and build lifelong relationships.

  • Army-Navy Social: our annual gathering of cadets, midshipmen and alumni. The first, in February 2026, drew 140 people. The next is planned for spring 2027.
  • Planned: regional socials, Army football tailgates, and golf tournament fundraisers.

Mentorship

Cadets, junior officers, and service members transitioning to civilian life often lack guidance from people who understand their journey. The KARSAA Mentorship Program connects them with experienced officers, alumni, and professionals who share their values and heritage, and it covers both military and civilian careers.

How It Works

  1. Sign up as a mentor or a mentee through an interest form.
  2. Get matched on goals, branch interests, leadership experience, cultural background and mentorship style, then complete a short onboarding.
  3. Meet monthly, with at least one meaningful interaction a month and check-ins from the mentorship team.
  4. Share feedback midway through and at the end of each round, so the program keeps improving.

Sign-ups for the first round are planned to open by January 2027. You can express interest now.

Professional Development

We help leaders grow in military service and civilian careers through panels, seminars, and conversations with experienced leaders.

  • Cadet events at West Point: opportunities for cadets to learn from experienced officers, such as the Posting Korea event in April 2026.
  • “Life After the Academy”: a panel at the February 2026 Army-Navy Social with COL Derrick Lee, LtCol Ronnie Choe, CAPT Henry Kim, CPT Daniel An and CPT Martino An, who spoke in their personal capacity.
  • Planned: fireside chats, U.S.-Republic of Korea strategic roundtables, a KARSAA podcast, and, in the future, scholarships.

Community Engagement

KARSAA builds bridges between the Korean American community and national service. We connect civilian leaders, military leaders, and policymakers, and we work alongside organizations that share our goals.

For example, the National Korean Student Alliance (N-KSA) supported our 2026 Army-Navy Social.
